Job Summary
Assess patient daily living and work-related skills to develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer diagnostic tests in home settings, confer with physicians to revise Plans of Care, and provide instruction to improve strength, coordination, and range-of-motion. Review retraining programs, consult with vocational team members, and design community reintegration activities. Recommend adaptive equipment, train staff and family members on self-care skills, and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants. Document patient observations and interventions, submit evaluation plans, and participate in discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
