Job Summary
Assess patient daily living skills, administer diagnostic tests, and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Confer with physicians to revise Plans of Care, provide instruction to improve strength and function, and design community reintegration activities. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, document care observations and interim orders, and coordinate discharge planning. Report patient progress to the Clinical Manager and family members while recommending adaptive equipment to improve residence environments.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
