Job Summary
Assess and screen patients' daily living skills to develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer diagnostic tests in homes, confer with physicians to revise treatment plans, and provide instruction to improve strength, coordination, and range of motion. Consult with vocational team members to design community reintegration activities and recommend adaptive equipment for residence or work environments. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, train family members on hygiene and grooming skills, and document all care observations and interventions. Report patient status to the Clinical Manager and participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility (required for patient-facing role)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
