Job Summary
Assess patients' daily living skills, administer diagnostic tests, and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Confer with physicians and the care team to revise treatment plans, provide instruction to restore strength and function, and design community reintegration activities. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, document care observations and interventions, and coordinate discharge planning. Report patient progress to the Clinical Manager and family members while recommending adaptive equipment for improved residence environments.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
