Job Summary
Assess patient daily living skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer diagnostic tests to evaluate function and provide treatment to improve strength, coordination, and range of motion. Confer with physicians to revise the Plan of Care and consult with vocational team members to implement reintegration activities. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, while documenting care observations and submitting discharge summaries. Design adaptive equipment and train staff on hygiene and grooming skills. This role supports patients recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions through personalized home care.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility (required for patient-facing role)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
