Occupational Therapist Home Health-PRN

Assess and screen patients' daily living skills to develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer diagnostic tests in homes, confer with physicians to revise Plans of Care, and provide treatment to restore strength and function. Consult with vocational team members to implement reintegration plans and design community activities for client rehabilitation. Supervise OT assistants and aides, train family members on hygiene and dressing skills, and document all care observations and interventions. Report patient progress to clinical staff and coordinate discharge planning while recommending adaptive equipment for improved environments.
