Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering functional status, home environments, and equipment needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with achievable goals while training patients in daily activities, prosthetics, orthotics, and adaptive equipment use. Maintain accurate records, report condition changes promptly, and educate families on treatment plans. Supervise occupational therapy assistants and home health aides, participate in training and case reviews, and coordinate discharge planning by referring patients to additional services. Work Monday through Friday in the Ayer, Boxborough, Devens, Fitchburg, Harvard, Leominster, Lunenburg, Shirley, and Townsend service areas.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a degree from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- be registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Maintain a current BLS CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
