Job Summary
Examine, evaluate, and test individuals with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments to determine diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans. Design, implement, and modify interventions to alleviate functional limitations while reducing injury risks and promoting fitness across all age groups. Conduct administration, consultation, and education activities while maintaining professional behavior and utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Provide one-on-one care in patients' homes to help them regain independence, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Florida State Occupational Therapist Licensure
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- Home Health Experience preferred
