Job Summary
Examine, evaluate, and test individuals with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plans. Design, implement, and modify interventions to alleviate impairments while reducing injury risk and promoting fitness and wellness across populations. Provide one-on-one care in patients' homes to help them regain independence, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and conduct administration, consultation, education, and research. Maintain effective professional behavior utilizing critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Florida State Occupational Therapist Licensure
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- Home Health Experience preferred
