Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one care in patients' homes, helping them regain independence by examining, evaluating, and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological, and developmental impairments. Design, implement, and modify treatment interventions to alleviate functional limitations while reducing the risk of injury and promoting fitness and wellness across all age groups. Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to create individualized plans, administer services, and provide consultation and education. Maintain effective professional behavior, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage stress and optimize time and resources. Work within a productivity model based on a 30-point weekly expectation, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Florida State Occupational Therapist Licensure
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
