Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist contracted through the Organization will implement standards of care for occupational therapy services and adhere to the Service Agreement. Responsibilities include evaluating patients’ functional status and home environments, identifying equipment needs, developing and communicating the plan of care, supervising OT assistants, training patients and families, maintaining clinical records, coordinating with other care team members, participating in discharge planning, and contributing to in-services and meetings. Requires OT degree, state licensure, NBCOT, CPR, valid CA driver’s license, and 2 years of clinical OT experience; flexible schedules and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Licensed as an occupational therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy
- Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist
- Possess and maintains current CPR Certification
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s License with automobile in good working order and insured
