Job Summary
Evaluate patients' needs for occupational therapy and develop or carry out appropriate treatment plans. Instruct family members, COTAs, and caregivers in physical therapy techniques while providing clinical oversight of COTAs in the home. Communicate regularly with physicians and other health care providers regarding patient progress, coordinating activities with the interdisciplinary team under the Clinical Manager's direction. Screen, re-evaluate, and treat patients referred by licensed providers in the Upper Valley region.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in Vermont and New Hampshire or hold a compact license
- Graduate of an accredited school in Occupational Therapy
- Unencumbered OT license in VT and NH or compact
- Driver's license
- minimum requirements on car insurance
- clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience as an OT in a home health care setting
