Job Summary
Home-based occupational therapy for patients in their homes, empowering them to live safely and productively by adapting environments, modifying tasks, and recommending equipment to improve daily living. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, an active state OT license, CPR, TB screening and Hepatitis consent/declination, and at least two years of experience in acute care or rehabilitation settings. A valid driver’s license is required to travel to patient homes; duties include one-on-one patient care, family education, and collaboration with care teams to enhance quality of life. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
- Current State License as an Occupational Therapist
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current CPR
- TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination
- Two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment
