Job Summary
Assess patients' daily living skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer diagnostic tests to evaluate function, confer with physicians to revise treatment plans, and provide instruction to restore strength and range-of-motion. Review retraining programs, consult on vocational plans, and design community reintegration activities. Recommend adaptive equipment, train staff and families on hygiene skills, and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants. Document care observations, implement interim orders, and submit discharge summaries.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
