Job Summary
Assess patients' daily living skills, administer diagnostic tests, and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Confer with physicians and care teams to revise treatment plans, while providing instruction to improve strength, coordination, and range-of-motion. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, design community reintegration activities, and recommend adaptive equipment for patient environments. Document all care observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately, ensuring interim orders are implemented and submitted to management. Report patient status and progress to the clinical team and family members throughout the rehabilitation process.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
- Valid state driver's license
- Personal vehicle liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
