Job Summary
Assess patient daily living and work-related skills to develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer diagnostic tests in home settings to evaluate function, then confer with physicians to revise the Plan of Care. Provide treatment and instruction to restore strength, coordination, and range-of-motion, while consulting the vocational team to implement reintegration plans. Supervise OTAs and HHAs, design adaptive equipment, and train families on hygiene and dressing skills. Document all care observations, interventions, and evaluations, submitting discharge summaries to care management.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
