Job Summary
Assess patient daily living skills, administer diagnostic tests, and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Confer with physicians to revise Plans of Care, provide treatment and instruction to restore function, and design community reintegration activities. Consult with vocational team members to implement vocationally oriented plans and recommend adaptive equipment for client environments. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, train staff and families on self-care skills, and accurately document all care observations and interventions. Report patient status to the physician and care management staff while participating in discharge planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
