Job Summary
Assess patients' daily living skills, administer diagnostic tests, and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Confer with physicians to revise Plans of Care, provide instruction to improve strength and function, and design community reintegration activities. Supervise OT Assistants and HHA performance, document care observations and interventions, and coordinate discharge planning. Recommend adaptive equipment and train family members on hygiene and dressing skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of occupational therapy experience
- Home Health experience
