Occupational Therapist Home Health

Occupational Therapist Home Health providing in-home OT services. Assess/screen patients’ daily living/work-related skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives. Administer and interpret functional tests to assist physicians in evaluating function. Collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation team to develop and revise the Plan of Care; deliver therapeutic treatment to improve strength, coordination, range of motion, and function; teach compensation strategies. Review and expand retraining programs to meet patient goals, coordinate with vocational team as needed, document care observations promptly, participate in care coordination and discharge planning, and design community reintegration activities. Supervise OT staff and Allied Health personnel; educate patients and families on dressing, feeding, grooming and hygiene skills; ensure accurate documentation and compliance with physician orders. Requires OT licensure, CPR, and reliable transportation; sign-on bonus available; pay ranges per visit or annual base depending on location.
