Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (Home Health) responsible for in-home assessment of patients' daily living/functional skills, development of therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives, and interpretation of functional diagnostics to support physician evaluation. Collaborates with the physician and rehabilitation team to plan and revise the care plan, delivers therapeutic treatment to improve strength, coordination, range of motion and function, and teaches compensation strategies. Designs community reintegration activities, coaches staff and family to implement retraining programs, supervises OT Assistant and Home Health Aide, documents patient care observations and progress, and participates in discharge planning. Requires current OT licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; 40 scheduled hours per week, with pay range of $85,400 - $117,500 per year; TB screening and driver safety program compliance are noted as part of the role. This position is located in Beverly Hills, FL and entails in-home, patient-facing care at CenterWell Home Health (Humana).
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure
- Current CPR certification
