Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) needed for Home Health in Boca Raton, FL. Key responsibilities include evaluating patients’ functional abilities, assessing home environments for safety, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, delivering therapeutic interventions to restore daily living skills, fabricating splints and training on adaptive/orthotic devices, conducting work capacity evaluations, maintaining accurate documentation, and educating patients, families, and caregivers on progress and plans of care. Requires FL state OT licensure, NBCOT registration, CPR certification, and strong documentation/communication skills; 1 year of clinical experience preferred. Flexible employment options available: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem, with a supportive home health team and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in FL
- Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting
