Job Summary
Evaluate patients' functional status including muscle function, endurance, and communication skills to develop individualized intervention plans. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects of performance while identifying home environment hazards and equipment needs for enhanced client outcomes. Continually revise care plans with nursing and educate patients or family members on rehabilitative activities to promote independent living. Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art tablet. Perform these duties as a licensed Occupational Therapist in the Big Island territory with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Required Qualifications
- Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Hawaii
- Must be willing to travel in assigned territory
- Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
