Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) in Home Health providing in-home assessments and rehabilitative care in Hawaii. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ functional status and develop individualized intervention plans, considering muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, communication, and ADL/IADL performance. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects; evaluate home environment for hazards; identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations; continuously revise care plans in collaboration with nursing and the multidisciplinary team. Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independence. Document observations and interventions using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Must be licensed as an OT in Hawaii and willing to travel within the assigned territory. Full-time roles in Waikiki, Kailua, Kaneohe, and Salt Lake areas with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Hawaii
- Must be willing to travel in assigned territory
- Graduate from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the AMA Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
