Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) needed for full-time home health visits in Dover and surrounding DE communities. Conduct comprehensive home-based evaluations, develop and revise individualized intervention plans, assess home environments for safety, identify equipment needs, educate patients and families, and document care using EMR. Roles involve independent practice within a multidisciplinary team, ongoing assessment of functional status (muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, communication, ADL/IADL), and promoting safe, independent living through environmental adaptations and training. New graduates are encouraged to apply; license to practice in Delaware required. Per-visit service model with competitive sign-on bonus and potential benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A current DE Occupational Therapist license
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the AMA/ACOTE as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with EMR preferred
