Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function within their capabilities. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, patient positioning, and splinting while instructing individuals in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and feeding. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment, visual perceptual-motor remediation, and upper-extremity prosthetic training to resume daily routines. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per physician prescriptions. Requires a Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with adaptive tools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
