Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function within their capabilities. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, patient positioning, and splinting while instructing patients in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and feeding. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment techniques, visual perceptual-motor remediation programs, and upper-extremity prosthetic training to resume daily routines. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per medical prescriptions. Requires a Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing and a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
