Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function independently within their capabilities. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and proper positioning to prevent contractures, while instructing patients in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and feeding. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment techniques, visual perceptual-motor remediation programs, and upper-extremity prosthetic device training to support neurological integration and developmental progress. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per physician prescriptions to meet individual patient needs. Requires a current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
