Occupational Therapist - Home Care - Part-Time

Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function within their capabilities. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and proper positioning to prevent contractures. Instruct patients in adapted techniques for meal preparation, home management, dressing, and feeding. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per medical prescriptions. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment and visual perceptual-motor remediation programs to increase developmental levels. Train patients in the use of upper-extremity prosthetic devices to resume daily routines. Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and a current Colorado license in good standing.
