Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function within their capabilities. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and proper positioning to prevent contractures. Instruct patients in adapted techniques for meal preparation, home management, dressing, and feeding. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per medical prescriptions. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment and visual perceptual-motor remediation programs to increase developmental levels. Train patients in the use of upper-extremity prosthetic devices to resume daily routines. Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and a current Colorado license in good standing. Full-time position with health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) match, and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
