Occupational Therapist - Home Care - Part-Time

Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels and function within their capabilities. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and patient positioning to prevent contractures. Instruct patients in adapted techniques for self-care skills including meal preparation, dressing, and feeding, while training those with prosthetic devices to resume daily routines. Administer sensor-motor integration treatment, visual perceptual-motor remediation programs, and individualized therapy for adult learning-disabled patients. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per medical prescriptions. Requires a current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA and a Bachelor's degree. Full-time position at Cedars Healthcare Center in Lakewood, CO.
