Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and treatment for assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance levels within community limits. Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, patient positioning, and splinting while instructing individuals in self-care skills for meal preparation, dressing, and feeding. Administer sensor-motor integration techniques, visual perceptual-motor remediation programs, and prosthetic device training to support neurological integration and developmental levels. Design and fabricate splints, slings, and adaptive equipment per physician prescriptions to meet specific patient or family needs. Requires a Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist License in good standing with DORA
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
