Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, including interviews, observations, and specialized assessments like goniometry and muscle strength testing, to determine patient habilitation and rehabilitation needs. Independently implement and document plans of care for patients with routine to complex problems, modifying interventions based on measurable progress and revising treatment goals as necessary. Perform therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, gait training, and apply modalities such as heat/cold and ultrasound while recommending adaptive equipment and home modifications. Manage visit schedules, organize patient assignments, and maintain clinical records by submitting admission records within 48 hours and daily records within 24 hours. Communicate respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and the health team to facilitate continuity of care and participate in case conferences and community outreach efforts.
