Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and treatment in patients' homes, including interviews, observations, palpation, and specialized assessments using tools like goniometers and muscle strength testing. Independently implement and document plans of care for routine to complex problems, establishing teaching plans and modifying interventions based on measurable progress. Perform therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and gait training while recommending adaptive equipment and home modifications to maximize patient safety. Manage visit schedules, organize patient assignments, and maintain clinical records by submitting admission records within 48 hours and daily records within 24 hours. Participate in case conferences, community outreach, and educational programs to enhance skills. Requires an ACOTE-accredited OT degree, 1-2 years clinical experience, and a valid state driver's license. Salary ranges from $74,214 to $134,596 annually.
