Job Summary
Practice independently in the community as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients by determining needs and developing treatment plans and outcomes. Deliver personalized rehabilitation therapy to patients in their homes or care facilities. Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments. VNS Health, a 130-year-old nonprofit, helps New Yorkers recover in their homes. The role offers licensure in New York State and a valid driver's license for travel outside Manhattan.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year occupational therapy experience or successful completion of probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern
- Licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New York State
- Valid driver's license
