Job Summary
Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to restore function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion for patients with disease or injury. Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities to progress patients toward goals, and revise plans with patient and family input. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, referrals to community resources, and collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs. Document evaluations, sessions, and care plans per departmental guidelines while adhering to regulatory standards, infection prevention precautions, and Wellstar Health System policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Occupational Therapy or Masters Occupational Therapy
- Effective communication skills

- basic computer skills
- Compliance with all applicable regulatory standards
- Maintains attendance/punctuality in accordance with system policy and procedure
- Adheres to departmental dress code policy, including wearing and displaying ID badge approp
- Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct
- Complies with all mandatory hospital and/or system mandatory requirements
