Job Summary
Provides skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of care, assists in evaluation and development of the plan of care, designs orthotics and adaptive devices, and delivers therapeutic activities to restore function and independence. Teaches and trains clients, families and health team personnel in exercise programs to increase strength and functional self-care, observes and reports patient progress, and collaborates with staff for care planning, reevaluation, and referrals. Responsible for ensuring the plan of care addresses problems identified in assessments, identifying barriers to outcomes, and maintaining competency. Requirements include licensure/registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association and state licensure, and a minimum of one year of OT experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association or successfully completed the educational requirements of occupational therapy and licensed in the State.
- Minimum of one year of occupational therapy experience.
