Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and intervention for women with complex physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre. Lead person-centred care planning, discharge planning, and community transition pathways while providing clinical leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary teams. Contribute to quality improvement, service development, education, and research activities, building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. This part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed-term role until July 2027 requires an experienced Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration and extensive acute and community healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Appropriate tertiary qualification
- Extensive clinical experience in acute, community and interdisciplinary healthcare settings
- Demonstrated expertise in complex assessment, care planning, discharge planning and case conferencing
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience contributing to quality improvement, service development or research initiatives
- A current Victorian Driver Licence
- All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check
- An Immunisation Status Clearance
- A Working with Children Check (if applicable)
