Occupational Therapist

Evaluate patients through medical records and clinical observation to develop treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Demonstrate competency in patient assessment, goal setting, and implementation of therapy while maintaining appropriate documentation. Provide relevant information at team, family, and clinic conferences, and assign treatments to therapy assistants with ongoing feedback. Act as a preceptor to therapy students, share knowledge through in-service classes, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure appropriate care. Implement quality assurance and utilization review programs, maintain awareness of safety protocols, and uphold community reputation.
