Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing in-home Occupational Therapy services to Agency patients, as prescribed by the attending physician, and for providing Agency staff, and the attending physician with Occupational Therapy consultation as needed. Key responsibilities include performing OT assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans to improve independence and cognitive/physical functioning, educating patients and families on therapeutic procedures, instructing on orthotic/prosthetic devices, arranging additional in-home or outpatient OT services as needed, maintaining documentation, reporting progress to the physician, coordinating with the home health team, and participating in staff development activities. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, full-time with local travel; no weekends or on-call. Benefits provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Occupational Medicine (1+ years)
- Social Work (2+ years)
- Valid Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) certification/license in the state of Pennsylvania (PA)
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL) certification/license
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)
