Job Summary
Occupational Therapist position to provide and administer occupational therapy to patients and residents in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction of the Clinical Services Manager. In-house therapy program, responsibility includes initial patient examination, evaluation, creating and revising the plan of care, and maintaining patient records; focus on delivering quality services within a skilled nursing/outpatient rehab setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited education course in occupational therapy (OT)
- Licensed in the state in which they will be practicing
- CPR Certification preferred
- Must not be excluded or sanctioned from state or federal program
- Demonstrate professional attitude and appearance
- Proficient administrative and communication within department and facility and company
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the practice of occupational therapy
- Display working knowledge of multidisciplinary practice scopes in outpatient/ALF/ILF/LTC settings
- Thorough knowledge of payer source documentation and payment requirements
- Ability to use analytical skills to develop outcome driven solutions
- Prior EMR/computer experience
