Job Summary

Occupational Therapist provides cognitive and functional performance services to support mission readiness, resilience, and occupational effectiveness. Conducts comprehensive cognitive performance evaluations, performs occupational analysis to identify performance barriers, develops individualized cognitive performance plans targeting executive functioning, attention control, stress regulation, mental agility, and recovery strategies, and delivers group-based cognitive training and rehabilitation protocols. Collaborates with interdisciplinary Human Performance teams to align planning, education, and care coordination for service members and families. Maintains compliance with privacy and DoD regulations, educates leadership on cognitive readiness trends, and supports both garrison and operational training settings. Requires Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, current OT license, NBCOT certification, and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; location-specific sites include Fort Bragg NC, San Diego CA, Fort Campbell KY, Hurlburt Field FL, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord WA; travel less than 10%; onsite work with opportunities for mission-focused cognitive resilience programming.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in at least one U.S. state or territory
  • Current certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Experience with cognitive assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, or human performance
  • Experience with neurocognitive testing platforms and performance data interpretation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance within six months of hiring
  • Experience with tactical, military, elite athletic, or high-performance populations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for briefing senior leadership
  • Ability to operate independently in dynamic, high-tempo environments
