Job Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you will perform a full range of services, including screenings, functional assessments, treatment planning, and documentation of patient/student progress. You will develop and implement treatment goals, engage with patients based on their developmental needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and contribute to the training of interns. This position requires a degree in Occupational Therapy, a current Maryland license, and two to three years of relevant work experience, preferably in psychiatric settings. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
- Current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland.
- Two to three years of progressively more responsible work experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting is preferred but not necessary.
