Job Summary
Assess home environments for safety risks and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment. Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals focused on improving independence. Fabricate splints and train patients in the use of adaptive, prosthetic, and orthotic devices. Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record and communicate plans with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide oversight of home health aide care when therapy is the sole skilled service. Full-time field-based coverage in Seminole, Florida, with NBCOT licensure and state registration required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience
- Home health experience
