Occupational Therapist (Full Time, The Retreat-Towson)

Job Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you will utilize your knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice specifically in psychosocial dysfunction. You will work with patients diagnosed with mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring disorders in a multidisciplinary environment, conducting assessments and creating treatment plans. A current Maryland license and experience with neurodivergent patients are mandatory. The role requires effective communication skills to engage with a diverse patient population.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as an occupational therapist in the State of Maryland
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Three to six months clinical experience
- Basic computer usage skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with neurodivergent/Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Ability to complete assessments and recommendations for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical ability to combine observations to determine functional abilities and deficits
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Working weekends is required
