Job Summary
Occupational Therapist responsible for evaluating and testing patients’ physical and mental abilities to create effective rehabilitation goals. The role includes designing interventions, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the rehabilitation team. The candidate must possess a current Oregon Occupational Therapist license and BLS certification, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon Occupational Therapist license
- BLS certification
- Knowledge of state practice act guidelines and Medicare guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with electronic medical record documentation
- Knowledge of caring for physical and developmental needs of patients across age groups
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
- Strong interpersonal skills and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
