Job Summary
Conduct licensed occupational therapy services for patients aged 55 and older in home health settings serving retirement and life-plan communities. Manage an autonomous caseload of approximately 5–6 daily visits with limited local travel, ensuring many stops are walkable within campus grounds. Maintain a target of 25–30 hours per week while adhering to Florida licensure and BLS certification requirements. Support patient healing and independence through clinical enthusiasm and strong rapport, with opportunities for cross-training and specialized on-site training during paid hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy License
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
- Clinical enthusiasm
- Professionalism
- Strong patient rapport
- Ability to self-schedule and manage an autonomous caseload
- Willingness to work within a home health setting serving retirement/life-plan communities
- Limited local travel within and between private communities
- No extensive driving
- Level 2 background screening
