Job Summary
Occupational Therapist needed to evaluate, plan and implement therapy to restore or maximize independence in daily living skills. Plays a key role in developing and adjusting treatment plans, facilitates patient participation, collaborates with family and care team, and conducts patient education. May supervise affiliated OT students and participate in department and Education/Training courses; documents patient care activities using RICIS; participates in patient care conferences to coordinate treatment. Requires a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, current Illinois OT license, and CPR/BLS certification. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, ability to transfer and position patients, and flexibility to work a Saturday/Sunday rotation are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Illinois License to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR or BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
