Occupational Therapist (Full Time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while serving as a co-leader in interdisciplinary patient groups. Complete evaluations, establish individualized treatment and discharge plans, and perform therapy interventions using appropriate clinical protocols. Ensure comprehensive clinical documentation is completed accurately within established deadlines and supervise assigned assistants. Maintain Occupational Therapy licensure and CPR/BLS certification as required for state of practice. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Delano, a 156-bed regional teaching hospital in rural Central California.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
- Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' occupational therapy experience
