Job Summary
Utilize evidence-based practice to provide skilled, medically necessary occupational therapy interventions for patients with physical functioning disorders. Deliver rehabilitative services to enhance patient recovery and quality of life through direct clinical care. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers regarding physical disorders. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards. This role supports the in-house therapy team at Continuum Rehab Group's Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities in Albuquerque, NM, offering a supportive culture with mentorship, training, and licensure reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA
- Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
