Job Summary
Provide and administer occupational therapy to patients and residents per physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager. Deliver high-quality therapy within an in-house program to patients in a 61-bed skilled nursing community; perform initial examinations, evaluate referrals, create and revise the plan of care, and maintain patient records. Uphold professional, legal and ethical standards of practice as defined by the AOTA and State Practice Act. Requires licensed state registration and typically CPR certification; EMR/computer experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited education course in physical therapy
- Licensed in the state in which they will be practicing
- CPR Certification preferred
- Must not be excluded or sanctioned from state or federal program
- Proficient administrative and communication within department and facility and company
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in the practice of the discipline
- Thorough knowledge of all payer source documentation and payment requirements
- Prior EMR/computer experience
