Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing Occupational Therapy services to patients, assessing patient needs, educating patients and families, and developing measurable care goals. The role includes maintaining clinical documentation, participating in team meetings, and communicating with referring physicians to enhance patient care. The therapist must also comply with infection control responsibilities and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet departmental needs. A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy along with relevant licenses and certifications are required for this position.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Texas Licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current CPR certification or will complete within 90 days upon hire
